How likely are you to recommend Preferred Behavioral Health?
What patients say on Google
“Preferred behavioral health is a nice quiet place for all kinds of mental health issues. The staff is very understanding and know how to interact with the client. If it weren't for Dr B. Watkins i really don't know how things would have turned out for me! The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. There is no pressure on you to talk or anything it's totally up to you! The front desk is the best! They treat you well and make you feel very important. I enjoy going to therapy. There IS no judging in therapy. Yeees, 😆 🤣 See you soon!”
“The two stars are for my amazing providers, Rachel (psychologist) and Shontel (psychiatrist). They are compassionate, knowledgeable, and have been incredibly helpful throughout my healing journey. If it weren’t for them, I would have left this practice a long time ago. Unfortunately, the administrative side of Preferred Behavioral has gone completely downhill. Every few months I receive billing statements claiming I owe large balances—even when I have proof from my bank statements that I already paid. I recently made a large payment to clear my balance and still received another statement suggesting I had not paid what I should have. Trying to resolve this has been extremely frustrating. It is incredibly difficult to reach anyone in the office. I’ve called multiple times without getting responses and have even had to ask my providers for help contacting someone because my messages were not returned. When I do manage to reach someone, the call quality is so poor I can barely hear them, and I’m not allowed to speak with the billing department directly. Messages are not reliably passed along to providers, which makes communication even more difficult. At this point, I’m choosing to leave the practice. It’s exhausting to constantly deal with billing confusion and communication issues. Every time it seems like things might be resolved, another problem appears. If you do choose this practice, I highly recommend Rachel and Shontel. They are truly wonderful providers and deserve recognition for the care they give their patients. I will genuinely miss working with them.”
“I have going to Preferred Behavioral Health for about a year now. I see Nicole and Jaycee. This is the first time that I have found providers and office staff that are so kind, caring, supportive and easy to work with. In the past I have gotten discouraged and chose to use my regular primary for medication management. I would highly recommend this office, you don’t feel like just another patient.”
“I've never had problems with billing before they were taken over by foreigners. I'm not racist, but they can't manage their books. I was billed for a missed co-pay that I paid under the OLD provider. So, I sent in proof that I'd paid the co-pay for that visit. Guess what they did to fix the issue? They turned around and sent me another bill with 3 more days of unpaid co-pays. These were days that were never on the previous bill. It's criminal because for 4 months I disputed the double charged amount. Now, after I provided proof that the co-pay was paid, they retaliate and come up some bogus days to bill. What is this called when a business does this? To whom do I report this fraud?”
