“honestly when i first met my girlfriend, i thought it was super neat that she was actually getting the help she needed. shes had a history of severe depression, anxiety, and ocd. she would tell me how she would open up and be vulnerable with her counselor, but some of the advice i would hear during these sessions sounded really off. i dont know the name of this counselor, but she was just super unprofessional. i get it, counseling and therapists are two separate things, but the things she would tell my girlfriend were pretty bland and in my opinion, not helpful. one day she just completely ghosted my girlfriend, no text or call back whatsoever. i feel like as a counselor, your job is to be persistent with your clients, offer other days to reschedule, unless they themselves put an end to these sessions. overall, id say don’t waste your time coming here, because they will just disappear on you and leave you in the dark.”
