What patients say on Google

“The staff are wonderful. The problem is about every 6 months or so your therapist changes. I have trouble opening up, by the time I feel comfortable my therapist changes. Then I have to start over mentally and emotionally.”

“Only put a star because i had to to post . This place has some of the most unprofessional staff ive ever heard of. I am not a patient myself but my spouse is and this is the last time I hear how uncomfortable the nurses make him without saying anything. Not only do they change demeanor instantly when realizing you are in need of substance abuse help and treat/talk to you like you are less than, but I thought it was just in stories ive heard that they try and seduce their patients. The nurses administering the drug tests say there's no man available to do it (when it's typically required the tester be the same sex as the observer and only makes sense) but rhy dont put any boundaries in place to make sure that there is some sort of comfortability whike having to observe a man take a drug test. Asking a patient out, and making sexual comments on their genitals while insisting you WATCH them pee into a cup for a test is beyond anything ive read that's legal. As I stated before you can at least remain professional if having to administer a test like this to a male, or vice versa if the roles were reversed, but no. These nurse ladies that give the drug tests for prescriptions insist upon laying eyes on my partners privates instead of just being in the bathroom, as if thats not weird enough. I do not know the names of these ladies nor how to contact their HR dept, if they have one, but I hope they see this, know who they are, and do better to make patients comfortable. Its not just men, women are disgusting too and its sad when its supposed to be someone you trust. Like someone in this profession. Id expect better from them.”

“Do not go to PORT for mental health help. They will prescribe you medications and if you have a problem they never call you back. Multiple times I have shown up for appointments and I have been told your doctor's not here, they had a meeting so your appointment was cancelled, without ever notifying me. They no longer have in house psychiatrists so you drive there to talk to someone on a computer which can be done from your home, but they won't allow that. They don't care about your mental health and they don't value your time. Go anywhere else for mental health help. I now drive an hour to Greenville and get treated with respect and my doctor will call me back asap himself when I need help.”

“Great place. My mom has been going here forever now. But it would be nice that when you give someone an emergency number in case anything happened with guest dosing that you guys actually answer the emergency number you gave. We have been sitting here at the visitor dosing centre for over an hour calling the emergency number to verify dosing and nobody has answered not one of my calls, not one of my moms call and not one of the guest dosing centres calls either. This is super unprofessional and needs to be delt with ASAP! We were not able to figure anything out and she will be missing her dosing and if you still pentalize her for it because of your wrong doing on not amswering the EMERGENCY NUMBER we will have problems. And thanks to you she was told by the guest dosing centre that she can go to the emergency room for dosing today and tomorrow. If you guys would of answered the emergency number this would have never happened. Yes it was the visitor centres fault that they did not verify but its your fault for not answering when we had problems.”
