“I've had Derek Burt for medication management for years and he always been very knowledgeable and proactive. I've got a lot of neurological things going on and he is always willing to take what my other doctors say into account. Linda Johnson is my therapist and I cannot say enough good things. It's taken me so many years to address the traumas I've been through and I appreciate her honesty and knowledge so much. I always know that she's being real with me and that is so refreshing! The receptionists are all amazing as well. They know who I am and that is a comfort in a place you don't necessarily want to have to go.”

Words and diagnosis got twisted and I was made to feel helpless and attacked while trying to get my child COUNSELING! “I’ve seen Dr. Steven Hull and highly recommend him. Dr. Hull is very human, as in, he’s real. He cares about the person he is treating. He is knowledgeable and is able to quickly and thoughtfully express why he is suggesting an idea or plan. At the same time he is a good listener. There has never been a time when I wondered if he heard what I was trying to say. He asks appropriate questions, and he is efficient. I always feel better when I leave because we have accomplished what we needed to in that visit. He has a positive outlook, and he will not compromise on his standards, which, for me, helps develop trust. He is tops in my book.”

I used to get medication from my doctor until I switched doctors and my new doctor told me “I’m not a psychiatrist and I’d like you to see someone who knows all about mental health.” So she referred me to Pine Rest. I love that I can see both my psychiatrist and my therapist all in one location so they can communicate with each other to do what’s best for me! I’ve never had a single issue there except with one person and I handled that by switching to someone else. The receptionists are all super friendly and helpful.
