How likely are you to recommend Pillars Community Health - The Fillmore Center?
What patients say on Google
“I had a wonderful experience in my honesty of being there, and all the therapists there were awesome as well as the receptionist staff. I could go back if I could (I know I have different insurance), if only pillars were to retain most of their staff rather than leaving for various reasons.”
“Wanted to end therapy wasnt really helpful for my situation. So I called the front desk and told them like I'd to cancel up coming appointments and I'd rather do it with them then having the uncomfortable conversation of why im choosing not to continue therapy with the therapist. Well that didnt work at all. They pretty much said nope shes goona call you anyway and she did and it was awkward. Mind you im a patient at pillers of la grange and was told if I didnt feel comfortable I didnt have to speak with her about stopping therapy. And well berwyn did it anyway. Wouldn't recommend berwyn's pillers at all now la grange on the other hand is much nicer, and actually helpful and more considerate.”
“I was honestly surprised when I read some of the negative reviews because my personal experience with Pillars has been nothing but positive. From the very beginning, I felt supported, respected, and truly listened to. The staff I worked with were compassionate, professional, and genuinely cared about my well-being. Mental health services can be complex, and no system is perfect, but my experience here has been incredibly meaningful and helpful. I’m grateful for the care I received and would absolutely recommend Pillars to anyone seeking support.”
“I’ve been trying to leave this review for a while, but had trouble logging in thankfully, my oldest daughter helped me. My 16-year-old daughter has been receiving services through Pillars Community Health for many years. Last July, she was assigned a new mentor who made a significant, positive impact on her life. During the time they worked together, my daughter began thriving her school performance improved, her mental health stabilized, and hospitalizations decreased drastically. For the first time in a long time, we felt like we had our daughter back. We were so grateful. Unfortunately, a couple of months ago, her mentor suddenly stopped working with her. We were given no notice or explanation, and all our attempts to find out what happened or where the mentor went have been met with silence. This has been devastating for my daughter she took the loss very hard, almost like grieving a death. Since then, her mental health has declined rapidly. Violent outbursts have returned, and calling 911 has become a weekly event. It feels like all the progress she and her mentor worked so hard for has been undone. To add to the confusion, we were told a male therapist would be coming to the house but later found out he also no longer works there. It’s been nothing but inconsistent and confusing, during a time when consistency and trust are everything for a child struggling with mental health. I’m sharing this not to discredit any of the amazing work some of the employees have done we are forever grateful to the mentor who helped my daughter so much. But the lack of communication, transparency, and continuity of care has caused significant harm. Our family deserves answers, and more importantly, our daughter deserves the support she was promised.”
