“Unfortunately, my experience with this clinic was very disappointing due to billing and insurance issues. Before moving forward with my child’s testing, I specifically asked for pricing, insurance coverage, and procedure codes because the results were needed before an upcoming neurology appointment. During the first visit, everything was processed correctly and I only paid my copay, so I trusted the information the clinic provided. However, before the second appointment, the clinic suddenly attempted to charge me over $600 upfront, claiming it was because my deductible had not been met. After contacting my insurance company directly and verifying the procedure codes myself, I was informed that my actual responsibility was significantly lower and nowhere near the amount they were trying to collect. What concerned me the most was being told that if insurance later paid for the services, the money would not be refunded back to me directly, but instead applied toward my deductible. That explanation did not make sense, especially when my insurance had already confirmed my copays and coverage. Because of this situation, I ended up canceling my child’s appointments, which delayed an important medical process that could have been completed elsewhere had accurate information been provided from the beginning. After reading other reviews describing similar experiences with inflated upfront charges and incorrect copay information, I felt it was important to share my experience as well. I highly recommend that patients contact their insurance company directly, request procedure codes ahead of time, and verify their true financial responsibility before making payments to this clinic.”
