What patients say on Google

“This was my second visit to Inpatient Care at the Stress Center and the staff’s care was excellent! The rules have changed quite dramatically as they now allow the patients to move around all night. The first time I visited the Inpatient Care Facility every patient had to be in their assigned room no later than 10:00PM Or 22:00 Hours. Due to Safety Concerns it seems inconceivable that Patients with Severe Anxiety, Depression Symptoms, Extreme Intoxication and Horrific Anger Issues are allowed to move freely all night. As I stated the Staff was excellent, but Patient Safety is truly Lacking. Thank you…”

“I was told that they couldn't help anymore by my therapist in the IOP group. I was never raised into a higher level of care so that I could get additional help. Edit: The team that handles the access department is very hit or miss. I talked to a few people who were kind but when I went in person to be reassessed it wasn't that great. The lady at front desk was a bit rude and the person that assessed me just asked if my symptoms fit their inpatient program requirement. Since they didn't, he dropped me off at my therapist instead of assessing me. Edit again: I was called out in group therapy by the therapist for contacting her supervisor. This was extremely petty to call me out in front of other people in group because I chose to talk to her supervisor. She also said I "waltzed" into treatment very sarcastic and rudely. She had a bias against me as soon as I started treatment with her as my therapist...”

“Horrible experience. It was fine until I got food poisoning and got violently sick and they finally took me to the hospital but that wasn't any better. I had to suffer trapped there with the worst virus I've ever had in my life. I felt like a prisoner rather than a patient. They have no idea what to do when someone gets sick. It's honestly terrifying and dangerous. Do not go there.”

“The only thing I suggest is to use more communication. My husband and I have never dealt with situation or facilities before and didn't know what to expect or what to do. Also my son has ARID and they didn't have much accommodation for eating for him. They kept saying if he refuses meal time which he's not refusing he just doesn't eat those types of foods they will have to send him to ER. We had one incident my son said a nurse told him if he doesn't start eating he will die at a young age which was very unprofessional and out of line. My son went for mental depression and you felt the need to tell him that. Other than those concerns my son said the facility did help him and was glad he went.”
