“This company is absolute garbage. My sons were on the wait list for years. I even went to the orientation (she even made a nasty comment that if someone certified around here they probably work for us). I called them. They lost paperwork. I had to resend things multiple times It was ridiculous. A coordinator at Blue Cross Blue shield told me she has a lot of different clients with a lot of different companys, but none of them were happy with the administration at personalized therapy.. In spite of my previous experience, my doctor advised me to try them again. I sent in the paperwork and just waiting. Every other ABA company, when you send them the stuff, they get moving immediately. Because it takes a lot of effort to get the documents that they want. (Then it typically takes a month for insurance approval). You don't continue along this past unless you're serious. I told him again, "Let's get moving." I don't want to repeat what happened before. Then, one of the nasty administrators replied that they were not going forward. I wasted 3 months this time. I just spoke with a doctor at Kennedy Krieger yesterday. She asked for an update. I will let them know. They keep tabs on these companies up there. That is the problem is that it's hard to find good customer service around here. There are many people with backwards attitudes and backwards customer service. Unfortunately, those backward people run personalized therapy. If they weren't in the sticks and they had to compete in the DC metropolitan area, they would go out of business. They survive because of scarcity of services. The insurance companies, the school boards know what they're really about. Everyone nods their head when I mention my previous experience with this company. Not everyday people, professionals in the industry. No one is surprised. If that doesn't speak volumes, I don't know what does.”
