How likely are you to recommend Pennsylvania Counseling Services (York Psychiatric)?
What patients say on Google
“I had an amazing experience with Alyssa, so much so that I thought about writing this review multiple times throughout the week because she genuinely deserves it. She makes conversations feel super natural and she’s very attentive and caring. She is exactly the person who should be in this field. I would recommend her to anyone, she made my experience at PA counseling services amazing.”
“This is a great facility to visit if you’d like to be accused of being on hard drugs. If you deny those accusations, supervisors here will even suggest that your legally prescribed medical marijuana is laced with hard drugs! As a paranoid schizotypal patient, that was just as traumatizing as it was deeply helpful. Thanks a lot!”
“I am a current client overall my experience with dr wicki secretary is poor I am not sure of her name but she is very rude very short I am aware that they need time to send prescriptions to the pharmacy but to hear “at the end of the day you need to call us ” at the end of the day it’s there responsibility to provide at a minimum respectful service. She always seems annoyed and bothered by her job… you are dealing with community mental health at a minimum have patience or find a new job where you don’t need to show compassion. The two ladies that are usually at the window are sweet straight to the point. Dr wicki is always great! Thank you!”
“Extremely unprofessional experience with Dr. Wicki. This provider does not appear well-equipped to work with patients requiring a higher level of psychiatric care, particularly those with severe trauma, paranoia, anxiety, or other complex mental health presentations. Significant diagnostic conclusions and treatment recommendations were made during an initial appointment without adequate rapport-building, collaboration, or consideration for the patient’s emotional state and expressed boundaries. The overall approach felt dismissive rather than trauma-informed. Patients with severe mental health concerns require careful pacing, trust-building, and clinical sensitivity. Unfortunately, this experience reflected poor clinical judgment and a lack of attunement to the needs of high-acuity patients.”
