What patients say on Google

“Karen A. Medzoyan called the police on my son because of a misunderstanding, something she misinterpreted. Knowing how much I'm struggling, instead of helping me, she's making things worse, dragging me into situations I feel I can't handle. I'm looking for help, and instead, I'm getting into more trouble.”

“I have read the reviews and I must say i have to completely disagree. I have been going to PA counseling services for 2 years now and I have to say when I first began going I didn't believe therapy was going to work for me but then I met my therapist Andre Ramirez and he truly made a huge impact in my life. I was completely gone, suicide was everything on my mind, I was at my lowest and today I am extremely happy with the woman I have become and continue to grow into. Therapy works if you allow it to work as far as scheduling my therapist and I have a good patient and therapist relationship so I just call in and enter his ext number and he and I work out scheduling so im not sure why so many negative reviews because I don't have one bad thing to say to God be the glory 🙏🏽”

“I have been going here for almost 2 years. I have never had an issue with rescheduling an appointment, and even when I missed one, I was able to continue to see my therapist with no issues. I did have to change the therapist due to insurance changes but got matched with a great new one and continue to see them. This is the first time I have felt that my therapist really listens to me and repects the fact that i dont want medication. They listened to that and came up with a treatment plan that helps without medication. It's hard, but with it.”

“I had a WONDERFUL counselor here but had to change because of insurances. I now see another fabulous counselor that uses them for her billing and scheduling purposes. They have helped me so much and I can’t say enough about that (I want to make that clear). I’m very grateful for that. Having said that, the office policies (which are beyond the control of the counselors) are so frustrating here that at one point I almost stopped my counseling because it was so stressful. My insurance situation is such that I do not have a copay. I cannot get the billing department to understand that I do not owe a copay because my secondary will pick it up. So instead, I get sent a letter telling me I’m discharged (literally day after my appt before it could even go to my first insurance let alone my second!) and my appt is “cancelled”. I know I am making this sound overtly dramatic, but I’m coming here to work on my mental health, and this whole process just triggers all my issues. They won’t listen, I have tried talking to them multiple times, and frankly if my counselor wasn’t so amazing I would be done with this place. The support staff can make or break how well a doctor or in this case therapist can do their job, and in this case, PA Counseling is crumbling at the foundation. Edited to add: I have tried contacting the billing department to explain I do not have a copay. They do not answer and do not return my call (as of yet). My insurance company has advised me to file a grievance against them if they continue to try charging me copays I do not owe.”
