“Psychiatrist was happy to discharge me when she missed my appointment. It took 10 minutes to check in but due to “company policy” my appointment was skipped because I was waiting in line. Go to your PCP for meds, not here. Update: called the front desk to close my file, they hung up on me. This whole experience really sucks because I enjoyed my therapist, but the way they treated me is inexcusable.”

“If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is a complete joke. I had concerns regarding my son's therapists and the treatment they were providing him. I was told I would receive return calls from Bryan (clinical manager I believe) and I NEVER received return calls. I called a total of FOUR times with zero response. I did talk to Deb who listened to me talk but had absolutely nothing to say. No apologies. Nothing! They decided out of no where to discharge my son because "he's doing good". My son has been in 8 facilities and this was our second round with family base. He's been home for less than 6 months and has gone through so much over the last 4 years for someone else to kick him to the curb is earth shattering for a child with so much to work through. Coral and Rachel created an excellent connection with my son but very rarely did anything to help him work through the tough stuff he is going through. When I brought this to their attention they advised that they are NOT therapists. At what point was someone going to inform me that family based counseling has nothing to do with therapy. They also reported sessions that didn't happen. We were to have family sessions once a week but that didn't happen. I have reported to my insurance company for investigation (plus I informed Deb but no action was taken that I was aware of) Previously we had Chuck and wow he was so incredible. He did everything he could to help my son. He came to our home every single week with new and exciting ideas. This time we got none of that. So disappointed in this place and the time they wasted on the road to my son's recovery.”

“Much like others have said, this place is a joke. Took my daughter there after having some unfortunate and quite scary events happen this year and was placed with one therapist that told us her whole life story at the very first meet and only advice to my daughters bad thoughts were "how about you just don't. Don't think like that". Which made her hate going there. Luckily they kept messing up appointments and I'm guessing she either got fired or quit. Fast forward to now we're in family based. Very friendly at first. Slowly graduated to claiming my daughter was trying to self diagnosed herself(which she wasn't. We were clearly told in inpatient that she had very evident signs of a mental illness that would need further evaluation to confirm.) She just had questions on how to cope with it. But to them she needed to stop self diagnosing herself. Also had issues where if my daughter didn't feel like talking that day she told me they'd start filling out her questioner they needed filled out for their boss in their own words not what her actual answers were. And thennnnnn because I refuse to allow my child to back talk an adult and I discuss it with her they claimed i teetering on the line of verbal abuse because "as an adult I should control the volume level at which I speak" and used the term "as a parent you have a job to do" but then would say "were not here to tell you how to parent" but when I asked if how she spoke towards me and sara( the female half of the family based team who had just expressed that she herself got to finally have all of my daughters emotions and feelings placed negatively on her earlier that morning at a one on one session with her and expressed how unbelievably uncomfortable it was and how it was a lot to process)was verbal abuse like they were trying to claim i was teetering on their response was "well she's a child. It's something we'll discuss with her but she's a child so not that's not abuse. And were not saying you do abuse her. We know you'd never hurt your daughter we just want you to be aware of how it could be getting close to that that we worry." At that point I was done with family based and discharged from their services onnnnnnnnllllly to have cys calling me asking me questions that were only talked about during our private sessions. So it looks as if this is an establishment that will take anything to anyone if you choose to no longer use their services. Sounds great for a family based therapy place right?!?! You go to them for help trying to bring your family closer. Figure out ways to help your child but if you don't like their services and choose to discontinue it's ok cause they'll just call cys on you and twist everything to fit their agenda and story and make life a living hell for you and your family that you just spent 3 months trying to help. Oh btw it's 3 days a week also so it's not like we were just seeing these people once a week. 3 days a week at least an hr a session sometimes longer. But hey that doesn't shout trying to help my kid that shouts call cys on them because they didn't want to continue services! Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for help because honestly this place is not much if any help at all. I'd post 0 stars but it won't let me post this without at least a 1 star.”

“After 4 months I was given a new therapist due to mine leaving for a new job. The whole time also waiting for a psychiatrist appointment. My new therapist listened. But that is all. I was not given feedback or help. Was told over and over I would have my appointment with the psychiatrist. After 6 months of weekly appointments, the psychiatrist had refused to see me after I missed one appointment. This to me shows no care for myself by this staff. For someone who is in need of mental help this was devastating to be told. I would like the reassurance that I don’t need medication, or that I may. I am in the same place I have been my entire life but mentally more pushed down after seeking help at this facility and being rejected.”
