What patients say on Google
“We moved here from Europe which was a big change with regard to our daughters diabetic needs. There we had everything at our disposal along with wonderful medical staff. Moving to PA our first task was to find a good diabetic clinic for our daughter. The staff at Hershey could see our apprehension and did everything they could to give her the best care and put our mind at ease. For the past six years we have been attending Hershey. They are wonderful not only are they so attentive at her appointments but we can email anytime with questions or concerns and get a quick response. They really look after the children in their care that means the world to us. Thank You.”
“**PATIENTS BEWARE** Definitely not super impressed with this place, I'd say give it a pass and look else where. Brought my daughter there to talk about her pediatric psychiatric needs and from the moment the doctor walked in he came off as a condescending quack. We went for an evaluation and in my opinion the doctor barely scratched the surface and wasn't paying much mind to the child at all let alone actually listening to what he was being told. I've been through the evaluation process myself being diagnosed with autism and when I told him I was and that I see alot of similar qualities that I have in her even with not being the biological father and honestly he looked at me like I was crazy because and I quote ,"it's impossible for people to hide their symptoms". The amount of people I've personally seen mask their symptoms, much like myself, is astronomical and truthfully for that doctor to be speaking like that tells me he's either fresh out of med school and has no real idea what he's doing or is just flat out ignorant to reality and needs to stop prescribing himself meds so he can get his head out of the clouds. Would rate no stars if I could.”
“Today my daughter was supposed to have an appt with Dr. Nallapati. The visit was telehealth. I never received the link to start the visit with her at 11:45AM. I called the office several times at 12:19 & 1:00PM and every single person was so wildly unhelpful it’s ridiculous. I was directed to a nurse named Julie after speaker with the officer manager. Who I only spoke with because the front desk nursing staff member who told me that I would just need to reschedule for Penn states incompetence. The nurse sent several urgent messages to Dr. Nallapati and she never answered any of them. My daughter was unable to seen today and penn state cost me an entire day of work. They have made zero headway or correcting a mistake on their end. As far as Dr. Nallapati she is in my opinion incompetent and unprofessional. There was no reason that she could not answer the urgent messages being sent to her by the staff. I would never allow my child to be treated by a practitioner with her work ethic. Heck I wouldn’t let her treat my pet rock. She had no right to blow my child off and she does not deserve to be a provider at Penn State. This is coming from someone who has taken their child to penn state since they were born and even before. I have never been let down in such an egregious fashion. Everyone passed this issue off to someone else and I walked away with 0 resolution for my problem. This is just absolutely disgusting and I will be attempting to find a more consistent provider because I feel like they absolutely let my child down and I refuse to let my child fall through the cracks because of pure incompetence and laziness”
“We have had the very unpleasant fortune of dealing with pediatric endocrinology for roughly 2 years now. We have had countless issues, primarily with the nursing staff, they are AWFUL! The most recent incident was them switching my daughters medication without informing me, providing my contact information out to a company I do not know and did not authorize, then the nurse manager, Cindy, whom I have had countless issues with, called me to scold me that I wasn't returning phone calls to the pharmacy that she never bothered to tell me about. The pharmacy then fortunately walked me through everything and examined what was going on since Penn State clearly lacks the courtesy and educational capacity to be able to do so. I would urge you to look elsewhere.”
