What patients say on Google

“I really can’t speak to the rest of the staff, but who I can’t speak on is the owner Lisa. I attended this counseling/supervision center as part of a court order related to supervised parenting time. From the beginning, I was led to believe that if I completed additional programs offered by the owner, Lisa, it would demonstrate my commitment as a father and that she would support reunification efforts. I completed every program that was asked of me. Despite that, the support I was promised never materialized. Throughout my time there, I felt consistently judged rather than evaluated. I was treated less like a parent trying to do the right thing and more like an adversary. Communication often felt two-faced—professional to my face, but different behind the scenes. Information was shared with the other parent that should not have been, which directly undermined trust and fairness in the process. Most disappointing was the lack of advocacy when it mattered most. Upon completing my requirements, the facility had the opportunity to acknowledge my compliance and recommend progression toward unsupervised parenting time. That never happened. The absence of that support ultimately cost me valuable time with my daughter. This experience did not feel neutral, objective, or father-supportive. Instead, it felt petty, vindictive, and biased. If you are a father hoping for fair treatment and genuine support in reunification efforts, I strongly encourage you to proceed with caution.”

“I took my grandson, for play therapy. On the brink of a complete break down myself, Lisa saved me. I've been to more counselors/therapists than I care to count. Parson's is hands down the very best! Lisa has taught me so much, and provided me the ability to breathe, when breathing wasn't so easy. 💜 10/10 RECOMMEND!”

“If you live outside of a 30 mile radius of this place, don’t bother. The only reason I’m giving this place two stars instead of one is because the receptionist was really nice and sympathetic to our situation and it’s not her fault that this office enforces this rule. It really is a shame that these services aren’t more accessible to kids who really need them. Even if that meant we had to pay an appointment fee. Unfortunately with this place that’s not the case. I would be more than willing to drive 80 miles to Lexington if that meant getting my child the proper care they need.”
Nicole Phoenix
“Excellent! Mrs. Lisa is an amazing counselor. My only problem is that the receptionist never answers the phone. We called last week around 3 and no answer. We called this morning at 9:30 and no answer so we had to go over there and the receptionist was at the desk.”
