How likely are you to recommend Panacea Behavioral Health & Wellness Center?
What patients say on Google
“The other negative reviews here got replies that said they could neither confirm nor deny that the reviewer was ever actually a patient. I would be happy to provide proof that I was a patient at Panacea for years. This review reflects my recent experience. I worked with Panacea for years. I was with one practitioner for over a year, and then another who I saw for over a year, and I had a positive experience with each of them. After they left the practice, I was reassigned to someone who trained under my previous provider. Unfortunately, I only saw her twice before getting reassigned again to another person who had recently been trained. I'll call her J. After our first session, J forgot to call in a prescription for my anxiety medication. I didn't realize until I tried to call in the refill. I had to call the office every day for several days before this was rectified. Not having my medication for so many days was very destabilizing. When I brought this up at our second session, J seemed unconcerned, though she did apologize. I checked my scripts right away this time, only to find that she had forgotten the same script again. When I called about this, I was told to call again "a few days" before I ran out. When I did, I was told that J had gone on maternity leave and that I would be reassigned again, and that they could not help me with the prescription. Fortunately, I had found a new NP by this time, who called the script in right away. (I recommend Rock Landing There were also problems with the billing system. I was billed twice for each session for months. Each month, I would get an email with my copay, which I would pay right away. The next month, I would be billed for the recent session and the session I had already paid for. On two occasions, I received phone calls the day before an appointment demanding that I pay the entire balance (again) if I wanted to keep my appointment. This did stop after I spoke with billing, but I was never reimbursed.”
“I love how supportive the staff and providers are! Everyone here is educated in military family culture, that has been so helpful! I have referred many military families to this practice and all have had great experiences--they all serve those who serve. I don't know why the bad reviews are here, but that hasn't been our experience at all. I wouldn't take my family anywhere else.”
“I have always had a great experience with Panacea. The providers have very flexible schedules and availability making it easy for me to get medication refills on time. Staff is always friendly and easy to work with!”
“Just gonna be honest. It was an unfortunate situation for me personally because when I spoke to the psychiatrist and therapist, they both said it does look like I have OCD, but didn’t do much more for a diagnosis plan. I know everything takes time, but I needed a formal diagnostic assessment on my record so that we could move forward with OCD specific management, and constantly hearing that they knew the symptoms aligned wasn’t enough for me to actually manage said symptoms. Therapy and just talking about it didn’t help my triggers completely. Everyone was very kind and I appreciate everyone, but in the end I had too much anxiety to go back and unfortunately got terminated from being able to go back to their facility due to no showing.. I didn’t mean to, I just felt a bit overwhelmed at the time thinking about wanting to advocate for myself but possibly receiving no helpful results.”
