“I came to Dr. Paoletti's practice after a significant switch in my insurance coverage upon completing doctoral studies. I spent several weeks trying to find psychiatrists who were taking new patients--or whose offices would even answer the phone. Very fortunately, I eventually reached the number for Dr. Paoletti's office, and I could not be more grateful. Rather than write at length (which I easily could), I will say the following. The continuity in my care was seamless and immediate. Dr. Paoletti took my history, took time to understand the nature of my narcolepsy diagnosis and what forms of intervention had proven most effective for symptom management, and began to work to ensure I had access to what I needed to maximally manage the challenges of my narcolepsy. She shows deep, sincere concern about patient wellness during appointments. She listens attentively to any anxieties, and she is clearly committed to troubleshooting and ensuring the best outcomes for patients. A prime example is in her treatment of one of my medications, which my insurance requires to be submitted as a brand-name prescription only. When I explained this to Dr. Paoletti, she told me that the focus was always on getting me what I needed in an accessible way. Her staff at the office are absolutely lovely. I have had many challenges with regard to insurance, and all of the staff members (with special thanks to Steven specifically, who always helps) respond to queries with kindness and attentiveness. If you are thinking about switching providers for psychiatric care, Dr. Paoletti is a brilliant choice. I cannot recommend her and her staff more enthusiastically.”
