“This place is terrifying. If you are in a bad place mentally, I would avoid at all costs. No signage, no direction, no clarity where you're supposed to go once in the building. It feels like a jailhouse. You have to go through a metal detector and have your bag searched by security. This is not at all a welcoming space for people handling mental health crisis. This definitely feels like a continued institutionalism of the prison systems, which ultimately does not help people, and doesn't offer a path forward to genuine rehabilitation.”
