What patients say on Google

“I am so sad to leave a bad review for this office because my past 2 providers there were fantastic. Unfortunately they have both left the office and I was put with Dr. Stanisic. If you want to feel like a criminal go on ahead and see her. I was drug into the office and drug tested multiple times. This doctor is very cold mannered and never smiles. When I requested a refill on my anxiety medication because I didn't respond to her message about it being her last refill she chose to not refill it at all. Petty i shouldn't have to respond in order for the refill she said she was sending over to actually get sent. This doctor told me there was no hard feeling if I wanted to see another provider but it certainly doesn't feel that way. She also cut me down on my anxiety meds to a dose that was not effective and did not care that it was not a help to me at .25ml. When I requested to look for another psychiatrist I was told I would not be getting any refills from her and to see my pcp and my pcp office refuses to give me any of those medications. Luckily I was able to get into someone new and everything has been fine since. But this is a warning on this cold hearted doctor.”

“I am sharing my experience with Courtney Button to warn others about a profound lack of professional standard of care. During my time as her patient, I found her to be consistently self-centered; our hour-long appointments were frequently dominated by her talking about herself rather than focusing on my clinical needs. Most critically, she failed to conduct a basic screening of my home life or environmental stressors. I was living in a documented abusive situation, yet she bypassed this context entirely to focus solely on heavy medication. This lack of due diligence led to life-threatening side effects and a near-death experience. Her approach felt more like medical gaslighting than psychiatric care, as my survival responses to abuse were treated as internal malfunctions. If you are looking for a provider who practices actual mindsight, listens to patient history, or understands relational trauma, look elsewhere. Her negligence had devastating consequences for my family and my life.”

“My daughters have seen Ruthanne for the past four years. Returning from Covid was very difficult for them, especially the loud classrooms, being around different students, and change of schedule in general. They have both come so far in their emotional regulation and reflection skills. We will continue to see her. She listens, supports, and has helped them as individuals and our family as a whole.”

“The provider does not listen in the slightest bit twist your words to complete opposite of what you said. Schedule you for a day that you’re not even available and then becomes completely hostile when you can’t keep the appointment and then wants you so drugged up Causing you to constantly oversleep and be late to everything and then send you a letter pretty much bullying you for missing the appointment. Avoid this building at all costing back at this point avoid OSF at all cost.”
