“I have been prompted to share my experience after much time, other counsel and healing. I came to Origins back in 2023. I was facing very difficult circumstances. I was led to believe this was a Christian counseling facility. I was well aware that when we signed up we were paired with a student still in college. I honestly left every appointment feeling more confused than before. She had also been meeting with my husband at the time for we we seeking individual and marriage counseling. I didnt realize at the time but he had been speaking to her about me several meetings before hand. She had a preconceived judgement upon me and told me how I never finish anything, I needed to be put on medication and would ask me the same questions that I repeatedly would answer, but it was like she didn't like my answer leaving me questioning everything. To please everyone I once again went to my General Doctor had more test run and proved I was healthy...needless to say God made a way of escape after 24 years. I ended up getting a divorce. God opened my eyes to Narcissist...what I was suffering was emotional, mental, and psychological abuse. It was never physical so I just couldn't pinpoint. I do have to say for a so called Christian facility our counselor never once prayed with us. That Should have been a huge red flag. Another thing was that I often had to sign myself in on a device, not receiving a warm welcome from people. I have a few other Red Flags but Holy spirit is reserving me from posting publicly. I just want to warn others for if I didn't have God and was totally relying on the counsel here, I would probably be stuck in my abusive marriage, on medication I didnt need and to be real honest dead ( if not physically, spiritually). But here's the good news...God made a way, delivered me from the hands of the enemy and is restoring the things the enemy stole like in Joel 2. God has been faithful with the dreams and visions He gave me. He blessed me with a new husband whom I'm equally yoked. I pray that all whom need counsel seek our heavenly father first and foremost and true Godly counsel thereafter. For the Lord and His son Jesus is the only way, truth, and the life Amen!”
