“All of the staff is very welcoming and friendly. My daughter in law was able to connect with her counselor, Danya, on her first visit and completely open up. They have 11 therapists on staff so if you don't connect with one of them right away you have other options to try to make a connection and truly feel comfortable to open up. My son had his first visit yesterday and had a good experience also. Optimal Wellness makes my kids feel respected, seen, and heard and that means the world to me! It has not been easy to get them to go because of past experiences at other places. It makes me very happy for them to make my words to these kids ring true, "that not all counselors are the same to try another one if you've had one that hasn't worked in the past!" “I love the providers here, I do. I was going in to see them every week for therapy and every 3-4 for psychiatry. Ms. Brown is great, she has always made herself available to me if I needed to do something as simple as talking without an appointment. The only reason I am missing a star here is because I love the therapist I had, but I swapped to telehealth visits due to car troubles, babysitter troubles, and the HEAT this summer, and my therapist has not showed up to any appointment I have had so I have to search for another place for therapy. But my psychiatrist has really helped begin changing my life for the better and she is very thorough.”
