How likely are you to recommend Omoniyi Mutiu, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner?
What patients say on Google
“I Gave this psychiatric NP a fair chance. I really did, but there are some very serious issues with his approach. He's condescending and does not listen to the patient. You will be bombarded by endless analogies and the care feels so generic and impersonal. He will talk over you rather than listen. Additionally, he is EXPENSIVE. He charges for the office visit and then bills again for "therapeutic services". One appointment is billed at $430. After insurance for me it was $245. That's almost double the price of my current doctor who is an actual MD. You should not be charged to walk in the door AND have your issues addressed. I had enough and fired him.”
“I was very weary of this place at first but I was desperate to find a psychiatrist for medication management that wasn’t in patient. After my first in person meeting with Dr. Mitiu I was extremely hopeful and happy with the things he said and plan we made. I am definitely happy with the care I receive and management I receive and recommend especially if you are unsure if you are making the right choice.”
“What a joke. Between his homophobic side comments, belief that "no one needs medication," and him being 15 minutes late to my appointment and then putting me on "hold" for another 15 minutes where I had the joy of just staring at my reflection on a blank screen, I'd rather wait 6 months to find another provider than ever see him again. If you're okay with long winded analogies about medication being "spices in a soup" and how you need to know when to stop, "short term bandaids" being the same as a credit card and how you will have to "pay your debts eventually," or you're looking for someone to be completely dismissive of year long diagnoses because he didn't provide them (and would rather made rude comments about other Lifestance providers instead), this is your guy! It astonishes me that one who claims to be welcoming, supportive of specific populations, and dedicated to treating patients, is in a line of work where instead he chooses to question my symptoms, doubt my experiences, and state that he would rather diagnose me himself with his "strict view of symptoms." Sorry, won't be back, and as a long-time customer of Lifestance, I will also be choosing other providers in the future!”
“Awful. Initial psychiatrist discontinued relationship without notice based on an event at work that dud not have any bearing on my mental wellness and the referred doctor in the practice Immediately refused to keep medication’s the same, even though no formal assessment had been given. Personally, I believe both of these doctors brought their personal implicit bias to work when their oath is “to do no harm.” No thanxs! Ya’ll ain’t the only telehealth-care physician’s in town.”
