What patients say on Google

“During times in our lives we all go through some kind of life changing situation that can affect us in so many different ways. My situation was a family separation that had a hard impact for our children and both parents. Myself and our sons started reunification therapy with Kim Wells almost going on 1 year from now. From day one of Kim working with our sons and myself, it has been very positive and supportive. During this whole time Kim has shown her expertise as a reunification therapist that has helped my sons and I through many sessions of reunification therapy. Kim has always put our children’s best interest first and provided a safe and neutral space where everyone’s feeling have been heard and validated. Kim has never taking sides but instead expertly guided us through difficult conversations at times. Kim has taught us skills on communication, active listening, rebuilding trust and more. Kim and her team of therapist and staff have always been professional and caring and I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a reunification therapist, family therapy, individual therapy and more to go to Olney Counseling! I’m very thankful and appreciate all that Kim has done for our children and both parents.”

“I would highly recommend Ms Wells as a therapist. Her skill and breadth of knowledge as a therapist, especially related to EMDR, is outstanding and this has been extremely therapeutic for me. She is always professional, responsive, supportive and caring. In addition, the Olney Counseling office staff are professional, compassionate and very quick to respond. They were very helpful in resolving an insurance issue I encountered.”

“When it comes to the “gold standard” you can’t get any better than this team. Kim Wells is highly skilled and qualified, is well respected in the courthouse and amongst the bar, and has done well for the patients she serves. She is an excellent parent coordinator, reunification therapist, child and family therapist, and parent coach. If you are working on a custody and access plan, she will keep the kids safe and their needs front and center. When it comes to high conflict cases it is not unusual that one parent is displeased with the recommendations, but that does not make them any less accurate. I have utilized Kim and her team as a resource in high conflict cases and have had (and seen) opposing parties do the same. Without hesitation I can recommend her. Irrespective if she agrees with my client or not, I know she will always do what is just, proper, and right. She is highly skilled, ethical, fair, and will put the kid(s) first.”

“If high conflict reunification is the major leagues of counseling services, then Kim is the Shohei Ohtani of the field. And to be clear, I’m praising her not because she made anything easy or told me what I wanted to hear. She did neither. What she did do was stay completely professional and absolutely dedicated to what was best for our kids. She told me what I needed to hear, even when it wasn’t fun to hear it. I don’t think anyone ends up in this process without owning at least some part of how things got here. I’m guessing most of the negative comments out there come from parents who didn’t get their way and were hoping to just sit back and watch someone wave a magic wand and fix everything. That is not how this works. What I can tell you is that Kim is fair, professional, and has a ridiculous number of hours doing exactly this kind of work. She puts the kids first every single time. If you expect to sit on the sidelines or if you are not willing to hear some uncomfortable truths, she’s probably not the practitioner for you. But if you are ready to engage in real work, even the hard parts, and you want a real shot at long term family harmony, I don’t know any counselor with better skills or a better track record than Kim.”
