“We had consistent problems on the billing side of this business with one issue after another. We were told even though we "have maintained a consistent and timely payment history" we must begin paying each visit for my son upfront BEFORE hand. I then tried to pay the upcoming visit for my son on the portal so that he would not miss. I am currently taking care of the payments while his mother (my ex wife) takes him to the appointment. The portal does not take payment until a bill is processed and posted. We were told this is a "limitation of the software, not a restriction we created". Take responsibility for your own policies and do not make policy that you do not have the software to handle. My biggest problem was when my 11 year old non verbal son arrives with his mother with the routine of showing up for therapy and he is denied service until his mother calls me out of a meeting at work for me to make the payment of 31.44 for my coinsurance by phone using my card. Although we are established and pay his bill every time before his next visit (usually as soon as it posts), they roll their eyes at his mother and stop my son from resuming his appointment.”
