“Trish is so good at what she does. My son had major anxiety issues that was preventing him from doing things that he likes to do. It only took two sessions with trish and we saw a noticeable differance in him. We should've came here sooner! Highly recommend olive grove wellness!”
“Trish was a great friend and coworker to me at a previous job. When I was struggling with mental health, she was a great listening ear and voice of reason. Trish is a wonderful and empathetic person; she makes you feel cared for and connected while offering helpful advice. As our schools guidance counselor, I watched her help students work through various problems. She is a great counselor in all sense of the world, whether helping a friend or working with a child. Anyone would be lucky to know Trish!”
“I don't think this counselor is quite as experienced in certain areas as she claims. She hasn't been coaching adults for very long and she's in an industry where her age kind of works against her. She might be good for a lot of people, but if you're an adult son of a controlling overbearing mother, and you've been damaged/suffered all your life because of it, you might want to choose someone else. She cannot personally relate to your situation, doesn't have the professional experience, and she'll probably see it from a woman's/mother's point of view. (You know how society in general prevents female accountability...she will too.) She claimed she saw a lot of cases like mine, but couldn't name a single one or describe the situation. She can be downright adversarial. Often does not give solid answers to pointed questions, yes/no questions, ones with obvious correct answers, or tries to avoid taking a stand on an issue. If I would try to make a point, she would intentionally try to distract from it. Almost like a politician or a lawyer. As a man, we're used to others not caring about our feelings, however she does not show empathy unless visually cued to do so (does not respond to emotional stories). Strange. She also downplayed and refused to go over related material by subject matter experts who actually write books and articles when presented to her. (1.5 pages is apparently too much to slog through: "we'll get to that next time, next time"...sounds like laziness, possibly ego, or dangling a carrot to keep you coming back). After 7 sessions, still did not cover it. You'd think she'd either know it, or be interested from an academic perspective/helping her clients. Even though I didn't get satisfactory results, I want to emphasize that she still might be good for your particular issue.”
