“This is a horrible place, full of incompetence. I came here expecting to be assessed for ADHD, which is what my appointment was scheduled for. Instead, Tomika Washington completely invalidated me while I was explaining why I believe I have ADHD and the problems I’ve faced. She is supposed to be a psychiatric nurse, yet she made extremely hurtful and stereotypical statements about ADHD. She told me I couldn’t possibly have ADHD because I was sitting still and not moving around. She also said that because I didn’t make bad grades in school, that disqualifies me from having ADHD. She claimed that if I truly had ADHD, I would have already been diagnosed and would have had accommodations during my school years. Instead of helping me, she told me that when I go to college, if I start doing badly in school, then I can come back to get diagnosed. She repeatedly tried to push a diagnosis of anxiety on me, even though I do not have anxiety and said nothing that would indicate that I do. Anyone in the psychiatric field should know that people with ADHD can sit still (some do and some don’t). There are also many adults who are only now being diagnosed, even in their 40s, because ADHD was not widely recognized or properly screened for when they were younger. There are also many people with ADHD who make good grades. Often, because of their intelligence, they learn to compensate and work harder than everyone else. You shouldn’t have to wait until your life starts falling apart before you are able to get help. On top of invalidating me and spreading misinformation about ADHD, she also put words in my mouth by claiming I had anxiety and was worried about school when I never said anything like that. She even suggested that I probably have autism simply because I wasn’t energetic in my speech. If you want someone who will invalidate your concerns, put words in your mouth, and show a lack of understanding about their own profession and mental disorders, then this is the person for you. If not, go see an actual psychiatrist or a psychiatric nurse who is competent and compassionate.”

“Tomika has truly changed my son’s life. We have honestly never seen him this happy, thriving and creative. Her patience, care, and understanding shines through in everything she does, and it’s made such a huge difference for him. The growth we’ve witnessed is something I never thought we’d see, and I’m so grateful for her support. Highly recommend!”

“I had Kimberly Davis as a therapist for 5 weeks. The second week she canceled because she was sick. No problem. The following week (week 3) we decided to set a weekly appointment at the same and time and day every week but to do this we had to skip a week. (No problem.(week 4) She knew I was trying to get off of some anxiety meds and the my anxiety was so high that I had to cancel all my appointments on week 5. I gave a 24 hour notice. Then I get an email saying that because I have missed so many sessions that I might be better off with a different therapist!!! I MISSED ONE AND SHE MISSED ONE! We emailed a couple if times but she never took responsibility for her actions. And I don't need a therapist who is threatening to bail after one missed appointment. She obviously has too many issues of her own to suggest that I have missed too many sessions. I told her I would not be seeing her again. She might in the wrong type of work.”

“I couldn't recommend this place more! Tomika Washington is my dream come true when it comes to a nurse practitioner. She listens to all of your concerns and addresses everything you have questions about. She remembers me and asks me about my family. When I make an appointment I never wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room and I never feel rushed during my time with her. I feel like a priority here and it is refreshing as opposed to other offices I have been to. The care is top notch, the staff is genuine and polite, and I feel well taken care of. My medication management is finally at a comfortable level and it has made my life so much easier. I love this place so much .”
