What patients say on Google
“I'm usually not one to leave reviews, but my experience was so good. I was super nervous leading up to my appointment. The staff were nothing but kind, and Ali was so easy to talk and open up to. I highly recommend Guidestone New Phila office.”
“this place is a joke. i would give zero stars if i could. refused to transfer my medical records on time when they were needed for medication. requested them at least five times and never received them. this was in JULY. was told to keep a log of my calories to help with a potential eating disorder. counselor constantly talked about herself. could tell you basically any personal info about her. cannot say she could do the same for me. all of my problems were pushed off. counselor refused to ask probing questions and instead asked “how is school going” when i was clearly having an extreme depressive episode and expressed concerning feelings. made out to seem crazy at every appointment. finally decided to see a new counselor only to find out i needed a referral from her supervisor. never received a call from said supervisor. have gone about three months without any counseling services now. also might i just say this is my SECOND experience with this office. my first visit when i was around 17-18 was just as horrible. finally recovered from how awful that was and decided to seek out help again. was more than disappointed this time. can truly say i am worse off now than when i started. Do not come here.”
“This place has been a safe space and staple in my life since around 13 years of age. In my honest opinon they focus more on Family unity and comunication, but I have had a lot of help with PTSD and self-esteem as well as assertivness and anger issues. Things seemed to run more smoothly when I was a child perhaps that is perception or changing of the times? Either way, that is something I would like to return and will myself work on. The atmosphere is very zen compared to before their remodel, the staff is still very friendly to me and/or professional, when problems have accured I have to be the ONE that is reminding them there is a problem, which is fair. I have went a few years inbetween treatments and always been honest with them and they have never done me dirty.”
“I love my therapist and I love the nurse practitioner. Leah and Ali are amazing. I've been with them over a year now. The only counselor my partner ever actually liked used to work here before he was taken from us by Covid. The reason I didn't give five stars, though. My son was with Mr. White, who didn't connect with my kid for anything. We asked to be switched and got Tiffanie. She seemed ok at first but became too overwhelmed or something because we couldn't get in to see her, she never scheduled more than a week out even if we could. I wound up getting my child into CMH through the school, though I hate going through multiple services.”
