How likely are you to recommend Ohio State Behavioral Health Outpatient Care Upper Arlington?
What patients say on Google
“I called to inquire about a mental health referral and was told I would need to be placed on a waitlist for 6 months before I could even schedule an appointment, despite the referral being marked as high priority. When I asked for clarification on how this process works, I was met with vague responses and told “that’s how it is” without any explanation or alternatives offered. When I requested to speak with a supervisor for clarification, the staff member became dismissive and repeatedly interrupted me. After being placed on hold for about 15 minutes, I was told a supervisor would call me back, but I never received a call. My main concern is not just the long wait time, but the lack of clear communication, unwillingness to explain the process, and poor handling of a patient inquiry for mental health services. In a behavioral health setting, respectful and clear communication is especially important, and that was probably the worst I’ve seen someone handle a patient after 20+ years in healthcare. I will be contacting the clinic director and patient relations. Thankfully the call was recorded on both ends”
“My whole comprehensive mental health team is with OSU. I recieve the care I need for the different stages of my mental well being whether it be an emergency situation, intensive outpatient help or regular counseling.I know I can count on my team at the Ohio State University for my mental health and ability. Thanks to all of you for your care. Over the years.”
“Dr Lammers has persistently reviewed my depression summaries to start our meeting as well as other difficulties in my life coming up with a better plan. She sturdily decreases my current meds in place of titrationing a new possibly better prescription to help, depression, anxiety and fibromyalgia. Time will tell I feel very good from you medical advice.”
“Violet is really respecting my boundaries. She's understanding what I've been through and am growing through. She actually listens and is helping me so much. I look to or meetings! 🫶🏿🫶🏿”
