What patients say on Google

“I am having TMS done several times a week at this facility. Isabella is my tech and she makes my treatments extremely more comfortable and easier. They are not comfortable at all and they are painful, however she makes them as easy as possible. I get 3 done each time I am there, so she really accommodates me as much as she can to get my treatments as close as possible, make me as comfortable as possible and she is just extremely friendly. The front staff is always friendly and knows as soon as I walk in who I am and gets me checked in right away. I thank this entire staff for everything they do.”

“CRITICAL WARNING FOR PATIENTS WITH EDS, POTS, AND DYSAUTONOMIA: AVOID THESE PROVIDERS. I am writing this to warn other chronic illness patients about the exceptionally poor and unsafe care I received from Dr. Julie Hyman and CNP Smita Carpenter at OSU Behavioral Health. While managing my ketamine treatments and evaluating me for ECT to treat depression, both providers were completely negligent regarding my complex autonomic disorders. Neither provider possessed basic clinical knowledge about the severe side effects these interventions trigger in an unstable autonomic nervous system. As a direct result of their ignorance, the ketamine treatments triggered severe dysautonomia flare-ups on multiple occasions. Despite this clinical injury, Dr. Hyman remained deeply unknowledgeable, pushing for ECT without ever inquiring about my medical history or investigating how it would further destabilize my health. Neither she nor CNP Carpenter bothered to research standard safety protocols or contraindications for dysautonomia and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. In addition to the clinical negligence, CNP Carpenter demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism, explicitly telling me she only works at OSU for the benefits and preferred her duties at a correctional facility over her responsibilities to patients here. Compounding this medical negligence is OSU’s institutional malfeasance. The administration systematically protects underqualified staff rather than addressing severe patient safety violations. When critical errors and professional misconduct are brought to light internally, OSU handles them with administrative deflection and an apparent lack of oversight, failing to take corrective action or hold their providers accountable. Because OSU's internal systems fail to properly investigate these issues, I have filed formal complaints against both providers directly with their respective state licensing boards. If you have EDS, POTS, or dysautonomia, please protect your health and avoid these specific providers.”

“Recieved awful and abusive service from staff here that should be trained to handle vulnerable patients. The therapist Lauren would literally roll her eyes at me in the middle of me talking and when I reported his they dropped me? And then Dr. Singh was also very nasty to me as well she’d snap at me randomly and then would get angry at me for being late while being extremely late herself. And I’d always be within the grace period just five minutes late but she’d go on 22 minute tangents with me . It was honestly not a great experience and they weren’t able to help. The TMS didn’t work and I feel it was the tech not applying the device on the right spot each time. And the trauma therapy there wasn’t much flexibility with the therapist kept forcing me to work on things that didn’t apply to me so it was wasted sessions.”

“Great doctors, great staff. I don’t feel like just a number, I feel heard. I was included in treatment decisions after being educated on all the options.”
