How likely are you to recommend Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry?
What patients say on Google
“If I could give less than 1, I would. This place has major communication issues amongst their staff and their staff to families. They lack training and procedures. While caring for vulnerable populations, one would think they had a little empathy, but from our experience as a family of a patient, it’s nonexistent.”
“My sister was in this place a month ago I feel for anyone who gets placed here. We have to do better for people. How does a place this poorly run even exist. No wonder there is so much mental illness, there’s no one to help them. While my sister was in this facility, I left a message to talk to a nurse several times, and never heard back. She was let out after 3 weeks, not much better, at all. She is actually getting ready to go onto a hospital again, and I pray they have their things together more than OHP.”
“Where are my shoelaces? Just kidding. My experience at Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry was pleasant. As a person who has suffered from trauma related schizophrenia, I am grateful for my short term stay. Arriving there at roughly 11:00pm on a Friday night, I was greeted and treated with respect and that is how I felt the entire stay there. These people tried to get to the root of my illness and again, I am grateful for that. Thank you to the social workers for being patient with my unique living situation. Thank you to the community support staff for simply being there. Thank you for to the activities staff for getting me out of my room as often as you could and thank you to housekeeping for keeping the place as clean as can be. Take care. -E.”
“A most horrible. Terrible. Genuinely a bad place. I felt like I was in a Stephen king novel. I was terrified and no one around cared. I begged them not to put me in the basement. I think I was given a shot of some kind. The so called staff is completely I ignorant but are allowed to call themselves nurses. T made fun of me I was there 9 days. They would wait at least1 hour before serving the swill they called food I could go on with motor atrocities but I’m to tired. The extreme uncaring is reprehensible and the swearing was every other word. DO NOT LET YOUR LOVED ONE GO HERE”
