What patients say on Google
“Fantastic experience! Food is great and the staff is very accommodating. They actually care about getting you the PROPER help needed in a tough time. Keep in mind one thing...many ppl don't get to leave when they want because you don't always know best for yourself..hence some of the negative reviews. I can assure you...this facility is a great one. I spent 9 days there and am 10 out of 10 satisfied by the support I received!”
“This place was a joke. They sent my mom there and wouldn't tell me anything about her every day that I called. Then they called a week later and said you need to come pick her up. She needed help and they were mean to her and told me if I let her come home that they would have a weekly nurse come out. They gave me a sheet saying she had a doctor's appointment lined up and then when I called them they said nope. But really made me sad as I couldn't go get her and they said they would get her transported here. I was thinking like a paramedic but no they brought her here didn't help her out of the car didn't make sure somebody was home just left her sitting on my porch for God knows how long. She had a cell phone and I was tracking her location but didn't know they never gave her cell phone to her. So basically they didn't help at all and lost my mom's stuff that we brought her. They have not called to check on her and now she is back in the hospital. I've reached out for help and I've gotten nothing.. I know they didn't help her out of the car it's because I watch my ring camera after I realized she was sitting on the porch.”
“First and foremost, this place is worth what you make it worth, even with what's available to one there. I personally was sent twice involuntarily from the Baylor Scott & White ER nearby, both on emergency detention orders, stemming from family matters and (what I believe to be a overdiagnosis this second time around [stayed inpatient from 7/2/26-7/14/26 w/ first instance last year July, around same time]) of bipolar and schizoaffective disorder leading to me being prescribed unnecessary medications. Because of these both past experiences, I believe that the whole treatment process was somewhat of a scam/overtreatment (or malpractice); however, there is still some merit in the job and care that the staff and other patients involved give, if one gets themself or voluntarily puts themself there. If anything, it's out of ignorance and lack of education/self-discipline (besides other possible reasons) that one finds themselves seeking refuge at a mental ward. The reasoning for 3 out of 5 is that the quality for a patient is quite mediocre, and the staff and cleanliness of the rooms could be better; however, much of what is necessary to be done is actually done alright.”
“I don’t want to give this joint any stars but that was not an option. My husband went in for them to regulate his meds. He was sent there by the skilled ( I say that lightly) nursing facility Greenview. All Oceans did was put him under chemical restraints. When he came out he couldn’t even function as he did before his 2 week stay. He doesn’t interact with family anymore, he can’t propell his wheelchair around anymore. But because Greenview couldn’t keep an eye or ear out for door alarms he escaped twice. IN HIS WHEELCHAIR!!!! Greenview couldn’t keep their eye on him so they sent him here. Now my husband has no quality of life. I understand that this a common practice of nursing homes with clients they can’t keep their eye on.”
