How likely are you to recommend Oceans Behavioral Hospital — Alexandria?
What patients say on Google
“Louisiana Behavioral from Shreveport sent my wife down there for mental treatment and this was what she experienced: 1) no curtain between bathroom and room 2) water spot remained on floor until evaporated 3) damaged sink in bedroom 4) took forever to change clothes on day 2 5.) it was the following day until the local pharmacy got her prescription meds after release 6) refuse to allow patients to get their money for snacks and Coke 7) the lack of diaper change to their dementia patients 8) passing the buck instead of taking care of patients 9) patients meals were either cold or soggy 10) the building seemed outdated”
“The overall facility could have been cleaner but most of the staff are caring and aims to help. There’s one social worker there named Mrs Candice that my family is so thankful for. She cares for her patients and takes time with families. My family members can be a lot at times!! My father has been to facility twice however last time he had another therapist that told him that he could not request who he wanted as therapist. I understand if this is rule or whatever but the other therapist was rude, did not meet with him or call family. Furthermore, he had a dog with him and told patients that it bites! My father will not be going back unless he has say so with who his therapist will be in future.”
“This place will abuse your loved one and then laugh in your face because she passed away DUE TO THEIR INABILITY TO FOLLOW LAWS AND PROCEDURES. The own ceo said he doesn’t care about laws, so be prepared for the worst possible outcome if your loved one is sent here. They do not care. They lie. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN. Please beware. I just don’t want other families to experience loss due to Oceans management lack of care or concern. They just want a paycheck. They could care less.”
“My mother is a patient right now and the staff has provided me with the most information about my moms condition. They answer the phone for me multiple times a day and treat me and my mother with respect. My mom is only 65 and has been misdiagnosed until coming here. They have finally give our family answers and have been nothing but professional and loving! I recommend these people and im lucky my mother is in they're care!”
