What patients say on Google

“Do not see Mahla Wood. Idk if she’s even still there honestly. I saw her 5 ish years ago with my mom. We went separately and went together maybe once. Mahla would tell my mom everything I said. And then during our sessions she would have me just sitting there and she would scold me saying I’m a horrible daughter and human. Not my mom saying this- Mahla Wood “MY THERAPIST”. I was literally sobbing and she didn’t stop. Years of trauma from this. Still working on it. Thanks, Mahla.”

“I've been seeing Dr Vora for 5 years now. I honestly don't know what I'd do without him! He listens, has a good bedside manner and treats me with respect. Never rude. Always positive and polite. Also LOVE my new therapist Malah.”

“I went here and saw an amazing therapist for 2-3 years. She was absolutely amazing and the people in the office were always super nice and helpful! However, we ended up parting ways after an experience with Dr. Vora. After I had been sent to a day treatment program and returned back, the therapist and psychiatrist there and my primary care physician had recommended a switch to a separate medication. He said he could not do anything about it and would not switch my medication without looking at the files from my treatment program. He had also made comments like "You are pretty, you have nice clothes and lots of money, what do you have to be sad about?" Which is extremely inappropriate coming from a grown man to a teenager. Would not recommend seeing him.”

“I’ve seen Sheila 2 or 3 times in person & although I felt like the conversations were really slow (delayed speaking & the conversations went no where) I still tried to continue going thinking maybe they would speed up.. my anxiety & depression were/are so bad that I needed to be seen at-least once a week but she would push it to every 2 weeks & one time to 3 weeks. They charge you $75 if you call the same day to cancel, but when your therapist doesn’t show up they don’t care.. Sheila was supposed to contact me 3 times through tellahealth (online) & never sent an email, never called, nothing.. so I asked to switch therapist & they had to “send out an email to see who would take me.” Very unprofessional in my opinion when people are struggling, & trying to even get in with someone else you have to wait? I won’t be going back & do not recommend.”
