“Eric Zhang was kind and honest. For example, he offered to refer me to another psychiatrist because he acknowledged that other psychiatrists may know more about substance use disorders. Not a lot of psychiatrists will refer you to a different psychiatrist because they feel the other one knows more. He also affirmed and not belittled all my intense feelings. I appreciate that. “I saw Dr. Arielle Hall, their Neuropsychologist, and she is a sweetheart. She paid attention to every word I said and showed a lot of genuine care and empathy. She wanted to know what happened to me, what was going on, and why it affected me the way it did. Her attentiveness and concern was greatly appreciated - it made me feel heard, respected, and appreciated, and that is priceless when disclosing your hard times in life to someone you barely know. Moreover, she just seemed like a good, caring person, with a gentle and inquisitive manner. Likewise, she was good at her job. She asked appropriate questions, guided the conversation, and exuded confidence in the subjects at hand. You got the feeling she knew what she was doing and had done it many times before, just as a good doctor should. Nor did it take too long for her to ascertain the situation and prescribe succeeding steps of care - within a half hour, we accomplished all that was necessary. Overall, Dr. Hall was fantastic.
