“Too bad there isn’t a 0 star rating. We have guardianship of a family member and he was sent here because of his behavior in the public school. Right off the bat, wanting to medicate this child instead of working with him. He has learned to manipulate and go to the calm room. Everything he did were things his family member did that was learned behavior and instead of working with us and trying to use techniques we use at our home, which work, we were told to medicate! Our PCP disagreed with the medication he was put on, but because the other family member doesn’t, we were forced to give it to him. Every time we gave a new medication to him, it wouldn’t even be a week and they wanted to increase the dose. Very confusing, poor communication! Then his behavior would increase, which we think was the medication and then they discharged saying were being non compliant with the medication just because we were trying to clarify what they were doing there! We asked for counseling notes, never got them! This is the worst place to send your child! Understaffed as well, telling us not to send him because they can’t handle him! He does none of this in our home! I wish I would’ve read reviews before we sent him as I see there are many similar!”
“Both psychiatrists my child has seen are absolutely ridiculous and have not helped us at all. They changed his meds his very first appointment and refused to explain why. Then no one will listen to me when I say the new meds aren't helping and he is worse off than he was before the change. Meanwhile, my child is suffering because of these quacks.”
“Not particularly a good place. Did some treatment with my son and he was WAY over medicated. I had to fight to bring dose down when he was in middle and highschool. He is so against every medication now, as an adult, because of his experience. And he could surely use a moderate dosage of medicine to help his ADHD. He was prescribed 5 times the amount of most adults I know with a similar condition. He is not on drugs *thankfully* but I will say that if you start your kids here...Maybe you can expect drug addicts later in life.”
“We have been working with Jamie and she has been great! She worked with us to finally get the correct medication for Alzheimer’s Aggression. We had previously tried for months with no results until we got in with her! We are thankful for her and appreciate her!”
