What patients say on Google

“I spent a long time putting off starting therapy. I was hesitant and unsure of where to go, but after being recommended to Novas, I am so incredibly glad I finally took that first step. From the moment you walk in, the environment is completely different from what I expected. The atmosphere is genuinely calming and serene, which immediately helps lower your guard and puts you at ease. What really sets Novas apart, however, is the staff. Everyone there is absolutely wonderful—kind, professional, and deeply compassionate. Beyond the professional guidance, there is a real sense of community. I’ve had the chance to sit with and talk to some truly amazing people, and that social connection has been such an unexpected and valuable part of my healing journey. Since starting at Novas, I’ve noticed a profound shift. Day by day, I feel more and more like the "old me"—the version of myself I thought I had lost. Being able to reclaim that part of myself is an incredible feeling, and I can’t thank the team enough for their support. If you’ve been delaying therapy or are on the fence about reaching out, I couldn’t recommend Novas more. It is a safe, welcoming, and life-changing space.”

“I can’t say enough about Seth Woodruff and the Novas team. Simply put, I felt the grace of God come over me as I left my first appointment. His willingness to explain things I struggled to understand in a way I could was something I needed and appreciated. His confidence gave me confidence to move forward and I will never forget it. Thank you Seth and Novas. 🙏 If you are a veteran or someone in need of help with PTSD or other related mental health issues, I whole heartedly recommend giving this place a chance for healing.”

“I wish I could say Seth and his office were respectful, caring, collaborative, and competent, but unfortunately that was not my experience at all. Not only that, but his office tried to balance bill me for a charge that was denied by my insurance. Since then, my experience with another provider has been night and day. I regularly had to wait 20 or even 30+ mins past my appointment time to be seen, without even an apology. His demeanor was cold, bordering on rude, and his approach felt very cookie-cutter and lacking in any curiosity about me as a patient. I felt like he talked a lot more during our appointments than I did and I was rushed, often not getting a chance to discuss important matters about my medication. In our last appointment, I asked about a particular medication and he spent most of it rambling that it wasn't covered by insurance and didn't have a generic. He then described the situation of another patient that was the complete opposite of mine and used it as his reasoning for the medication he wanted to put me on. Then he suddenly walked out of our appointment, gave me some samples from a sales rep, and sent me on my way with barely a goodbye. I get home, realize I never got a prescription since they didn't have a pharmacy for me, look it up, this medication is not covered by my insurance, doesn't have a generic, is super expensive, the supply he gave me is only good for 3 weeks, and there's serious warnings about changing doses or discontinuing suddenly. For someone who talked up following a standard procedure so much, this episode really perplexed me. I finally convinced him to try a simple, low-risk, non-stimulant generic, but I got reprimanded for suggesting a dose; he basically expressed the sentiment of, "I'm calling the shots, you don't get to have input". As far as the balance bill, they waited over a month, until the next appointment, to bring it up and pretended like it was just an error. I was told, "You can just ignore that, we'll fix it", only for me to get a second copy of the bill in the mail months later. I called their billing line and yet they never contacted me to rectify it, much less apologize. If I hadn't known better, I would have unwittingly paid it and I doubt they would have had a problem with that.”
