What patients say on Google

“Kirstin, the case manager I had for two years suddenly turned on me for no apparent reason. Although I was suffering from anxiety due to her refusal to return any communications from me, she continued this for days until I got kicked out of the CSP program for getting frustrated and calling too much and for lies that Kirstin passed on to her superiors. Although I have yet to receive an apology, it appears that a wrong is finally being made right by two very respectful people with the program, Anthony and Leslie, who seem to genuinely want to help me. I appreciate them and I am looking forward to some better days.”
Timothy McMillan
“Since Northwestern Medicine started managing Kishwaukee Hospital and all the medical facilities in DeKalb/Sycamore, CSP has been perfect! The counselors treat me as an individual and they really have been supportive. As a client with multiple categories of issues(depression, epilepsy, cardiac). When Covid started, they made sure that I was getting everything I needed. Last winter, I had to have a heart surgery- they were so supportive in helping me with the aftermath and staying independent. I recommend this facility for anyone who needs help with managing daily life with a mental illness. My only complaint is that when the best counselor I ever had left, I don’t like her replacement. She doesn’t meet with me very often, and seems to be too business focused and not really interested in my needs.”

“absolutely the worst experience of my 35 years being mentally ill no grasp of what supportive environment should look like. not trauma-informed. not a healthy atmosphere. misguided. garbage.”
David Chris Byers
“Annie, kim and justin from CPS are the very best. I'm glad there are resources like this available and it has helped me get to the better place that I am at today.. I would recommend Ben Gordon.”
