What patients say on Google
“Called to make an appointment to find a new doctor to manage my ADHD prescription, as i recently moved to the area. They schedule you first for a phone intake interview. Was told they would call me on specific day at specific time. After waiting 30 minutes after the time, I called them and they just hadn't called me yet. Was told that they would see which doctor would schedule me for initial appointment and to expect a call in 5 days. After 5 days I call back and am told at least 10 days. I call again at 10 days and am told they can take up to 30 days. After another 10 days I call and they say there is an in person appointment scheduled with Dr. Mona Lal. How was i supposed to know since they didn't notify me? It was scheduled for day 31 from initial phone call. Go figure. At the appointment, the doctor went over my medical history, asked many questions for an hour, then at the end of the interview tries to push a prescription for Prozac on me for 'depression and anxiety', which I've never been diagnosed with, instead of the medication I've take for over 10 years to manage my ADHD daily. Tells me she needs me to get a full 3-4 hour exam at some other doctors office that is 1.5 hours from where i live, because she needs them to diagnose me with ADHD (i was already diagnosed over 10 years ago). She further tells me that I *might* be able to get in to that place in 6 months, 'if im lucky'. What a total waste and her just milking insurance for nothing. This is why we have such a mental health crisis in America.”
“Briana is extremely incompetent, nasty, rude, doesn't listen well at all, and refused to answer a simple question regarding documents l was trying to submit before my appointment which now l will not schedule after speaking with her!!!!!! When l requested to speak to her manager but instead she decided to hang up 2 times which confirms her RUDENESS unprofessionalism representing Cognitive Clinic horribly. That tells me this is a unethical unprofessional clinic l would never want services from.”
“The receptionist, or whoever called me, was pence of rudeness just continued to go her route not even trying to give me other options they wanted to give me their treatment of shock therapy in my head, and I told them that I do not feel comfortable on doing any shock therapy in my head and they continue to say that and They promised so many times that they would call to check up on me nobody ever did and the receptionist was so rude and then towards the end when I said that I would look into it with my insurance company to find another psychiatrist. Oh, she flipped out and she said with the best of luck to you Seriously, do not go there I deal with Northwestern on everything else my heart, therapy on my leg home health is unbelievable Northwestern home health. They are number one. Nobody can beat them nobody over a year they’ve been treating me at my house. I’ve been getting a little bit better that I can actually get out and I needed to CS psychiatrist due to the fact what happened to me on not moving and walking and losing my leg and they psychiatrist behavioral health is beyond mad. They do not know how to deal with people especially the receptionist. They are so rude I’m telling you it’s too bad that they make Northwestern look so bad sorry that I had to leave this but this is honestly the truth.”
“They allow mentally ill patients with phones to call and harrass people with vulgar and disgusting commentary. One patient from this hospital has been calling my underage niece and left disgusting voicemails. The patients are obviously left unsupervised and when called about this issue, the nurse who answered CLAIMED nothing could be done. This place should be under investigation for neglect of care and for lack of concern for public wellfare”
