What patients say on Google

“My doctor treated me like an idiot when I was just concerned and obviously in a mental state of needing help. She had a very smug attitude that I feel was rude. When I told her my concerns, she didn't know the certain diagnosis I was referring to and jumped to a different one instead, one that I wasn't talking about. I did the test. Then, when I came in to get the results later, she hadn't even talked to my other psych/counselor and told us that we would have to come back (the wait time between appointments here is lengthy, as to be expected from psychological businesses). It was such a waste and I wish I never considered it in the first place.”

“Completely incompetent. Family Dr states urgent appointment and sends the referral over, and the billing department calls me and states that my child dosnt have either of the 2 insurances, that she DOES have. I confirm this with both insurance companies! Call back and explain this to JOHN in billing the same day! JOHN states that he will call back with the appointment. 20 days later I call and see when this appointment is going to be scheduled and JOHN states 3 weeks+ later. This will put my child at 50+ days before seeing a Dr for an "urgent" appointment! Unbelievably rude people! I asked to speak to a supervisor immediately and was hung up on! If this is how UPMC runs their business I will NEVER return!”

“I called 5 times to make an appointment for my father after his PCP sent referral. It's been a month and still no appointment. I have been yelled at and told all kinds of bs. Have only been treated this badly a couple of times in my life.”

“Absolutely the worst. They make you feel stupid, run 3 hr long tests with literal math problems instead of talking about why you're there, only to tell you have have to come back two more times to run more "tests" because they can't figure out what's up. When you say they are making you feel a certain way you're then told that you need to stop and just keep going with the ridiculous tests all while they look at the clock every ten minutes. Incompetent at best. Highly do not recommend. I only gave one star because I had to.”
