“Alicia was my prescibing nurse and as I was navigating my mental health crisis years ago, she completely overwrote my stigma with psychiatric providers. She was extremely cautious, asking questions during my treatment check-ins that I never thought were critical to my goals, AND her extreme caution with benzodiapines really showed that she was looking out for my quality of life and NOT to sell me some meds and push them. She encouraged me to hybridize and also seek therapy, and she was always transparent and willing to speak to my other treatment team members. Although I ceased seeing her because of moving away, her med regimen is my current regimen years later and it works so well for me. Its not too high a dosage, and benzodiapines are as needed (and rarely ever used now). Amazing experience with her!”
