“I am very impressed with the way this place is run. First of all my fiancée is a veteran and has been seeking help through the VA for a physiological induced/ medically induced MH issue. He was in the ER and urgent care several times, telling his MH provider he needed help something was wrong, being told that it was all in his head. The day my fiancée was admitted to the Northeastern center I honestly didn’t know if he would live, he couldn’t eat, sleep or function and within hours after admission one dose of medication under his tongue and he was much better. It took two days of inpatient and he is home. I am very grateful to the doctor who knew enough to treat him with the right medication. The VA would never have figured it out. As far as all the bad reviews I had no negative experiences nor did my fiancée. They did give me a code and it worked easily and yes that is to protect the patience privacy and it is HIPAA. This place also excepts sliding scale. From start to finish wonderful. Totally professional, glad to know they exist,”

“These ladies do work. Even against the threat of social repercussions. I loved my time here, although I never hope to be in a situation that gets me close to the edge again. Good work here to everyone, and I hope we keep stomping the stigma. And, if all else fails, I’ll be back for some cherry coke and good times before having an amazing life. My life is going great since recovering here! Just takes discipline, active listening, and a strong commitment to the goals you make to your loved ones while being here. Good luck and continue the mental health progress!”

“My daughter is there. She called and gave me a code. I couldn’t even call and check on her even with that code or asked them to give her a message to return my call. They said HIPAA laws well first of all you allowed her to call her own mother in front of you and now you’re telling me you can’t confirm or deny there’s a problem there when she’s trying to get help and needs her family because she’s been abused by a narcissist and then the guy hung up on me not this mom. I called back and I said the guy doesn’t need to be so rude and disrespectful. I will find out about my Daughter. I understand HIPAA laws I am a MA. But a lot of is out of my control with her being in Indiana and I’m in Michigan. I’m sure they’re not helpful at helping somebody.”

“I was not a patient here but my father in law who has dementia was for about a month. I would not take my dog to this place. We were in the process of getting guardianship of him and looking for a nursing home. We couldn’t place him in the nursing home until we had guardianship of him and also had trouble due to Covid. As soon as the insurance stopped they were literally going to wheel him to the lobby and told us we had to pick him up. The doctor had the nerve to tell us to step up and take him in our home. We were not equipped to deal with him. He was violent at times. We had to hire an attorney and get Parent protective Services involved in order to get them to back off. The things that would come out of the doctor and nurses mouths were NOT professional at all. If you love your loved one please find help anywhere but here.”
