What patients say on Google

“When I first started here 3 years ago the care I got was excellent. Since then that provider has left and I was passed along to Dr. Sisk. During our first few sessions she just recommended upping medication rather than finding the root cause of the issue, that was before she stopped replying at all. When she did get to appointments she was routinely late by 5-15 minutes before my last two appointments she never showed up for. I requested a change in provider and had to continuously call to try and push it through because nobody would file it after several weeks. After finally getting a new provider in Dr. Starr my prescription was changed to a medicine that causes panic attacks as a side effect. I reached out to address this ten days ago and have not heard back despite being assured that was the best form of contact. I’m quickly running out of Ativan which is the only thing stopping the attacks. The only department that functions well is billing of course. It’s a total mismanagement of patient care and borderline malpractice in my non professional legal opinion.”

“I am writing to formally complain about the treatment I have received from Carolina Behavioral Care and their handling of my medical care. In November, I was discharged due to a shortage of doctors, which was no fault of my own. Since then, I have struggled to find another provider who is either too far away or does not accept my insurance. After speaking with Dr. Palmgren, I was told that Hillsborough would schedule me as a new patient. I was given an appointment, but then I was called back with two different appointments that got mixed up. Now, I am being refused care and denied my medication, which I have been taking daily for nearly three years. Suddenly stopping my medication is dangerous and unacceptable. Furthermore, Alicia at the office was extremely rude and showed no concern for my situation. Her customer service was poor, and she told me multiple lies that she could not keep straight, even laughing in my face. This behavior is unprofessional and disrespectful. I have reached out to the state board, and the North Carolina Human Services as well as Corporate and next is Troubleshooting because this treatment is unfair and puts my health at seriously at risk!”

“Dr. Wall is extremely caring and compassionate as well as responsive. He is a dedicated psychiatrist and has made a positive difference. Our child has finally found a medication regimen that works for him and has improved his symptoms.”

“My psychological testing was with Timothy Gordon. He is far and above what I expected to meet. As I have had lifelong mental health problems, and little solutions. Tim is an incredible communicator and observes an individual at their personal core with grace and speed. He expedites his services efficiently and always has a plan for you. Tim's ability to comprehend behavior in a complete and accurate report helps "Me" to understand myself and gives me hope that someone "Does" in fact hear my voice. Tim is the best and brightest in psychological understanding as he takes his own personal path with you. My sincerest graditude Tim.”
