“Nola Detox has changed my life. This was my first time in treatment struggling with alcoholism. I was greeted by Trent , Minnie and Whitney upon arrival. I was in shambles , hungover and terrified. Shortly afterwards,I felt right at home. My peers and NOLA Detox staff were the kindest. I joke about this being a “resort for addiction.” It was nothing like I expected. I went to group and therapy daily. Whitley and Eric are very knowledgeable counselors.I’ve learned a lot about myself . I am more than my addiction. Nurse Lovie, Niyah and Capri etc… were my favs. I loved every last tech, Miss D, Dria ,Draya, Chase , Derek ,Patrick, Lauren . They all treat you like humans and not prisoners. Don’t get me started on the food. We ate Copelands or had home cooked meals from Mr.Tim and Ms.Bonnie. I gained about 10lbs being there lol . I feel better mentally, physically and Emotionally. I have an extended family for life.”

“My life had again become chaotic and was again in the brink of losing all that mattered to me. I called Thursday afternoon and was told they had a bed for me Friday morning. The intake process was quick and I was admitted to see the medical staff immediately for a quick medicinal comfortability. My inpatient experience was better than I anticipated as the staff were very accommodating and understanding therefore meeting the patients needs promptly. “This facility changed my life! I’m so glad I made the choice to come to NOLA DETOX. The groups are based on psychology and human behavior. I was at the Slidell location. It’s a smaller facility which means all the residents really got to know each other. The staff are phenomenal and really care about your recovery. They give the patients autonomy and having warm cookies every night sure helps. I’d highly recommend it if you or a friend need help with addiction.”

“NOLA Detox is by far the best rehab facility I've been to. When I left I cried because, I didn't want to leave. But, it was time to move on to my next phase Sober Living&IOP@ NOLA Detox. I went in only committing to 28 days and now I'm staying in their program. Now that speaks volumes.🤩 The staff is amazing. Jeff in admissions got me in last minute like within 2 hrs. He had made himself available to my millions of calls while I was trying to figure out what I could do and where I could go due to insurance issues.Jeff,Whitney,Christy and Trent moved mountains to make sure I got in there immediately. They stayed after hours for me. So that I would get well in a safe and secure place.When I pulled up Minnie,Christy and Trent welcomed me with love. I was met with open doors,smiles and hugs.Minnie showed me so much love. She unpacked my belongings nice and organized and also tucked me in(I was so sick)....lol. She and the nurses made sure I was comfortable. I can't say it enough but,also loved the entire time. If anyone needs help NOLA Detox will help you save yourself.♥️ The Techs(Lauren, Minnie,Tyrell,Chase,Miss.D, Drea,Dria,Derek,Patrick and Nick) dealt with my good days and bad,but still made sure I was cared for and loved no matter what type of day it was. Let me specifically say the only bad days I had there were due to my own issues nothing to do with NOLA. If anything they made all my days great while dealing with my outside problems. So much Love, Laughter& Respect! 😍 The Nurses Day and night took great care of me and my medical needs. They treated me like a person. They genuinely loved & cared for me.🥰 The counselors that I spent time with daily and weekend days helped me navigate how to deal with my thoughts and emotions. They challenged me by helping me engage in open conversations with them personally and my peers about things we wouldn't share with anyone.They helped provide a place we felt we could do so.Whitley and Eric taught me how to equip my toolbox with an abundance of tools.They have helped me identify what triggers certain thoughts and feelings to be able to move through life without substance use. They also made me challenge myself without me know I was doing so...lol.And I know that I can contact them if I'm struggling .🥰 They also fed us too much..lol. Thanks Mr.Tim& Mrs.Bonnie y'all have big incredible hearts. Mr.Tim you are so sweet and kind. I appreciate all you did for us and also the amazing home cooked meals you prepared for us on weekends. It made me feel like I was at my grandparents house having a nice family dinner.Your love,hard work and determination to make us food and do things for us is appreciated more than you can imagine.😍🥰 I went into NOLA feeling worthless, hopeless and unseen. And left feeling worthy of living,loved and gained a whole facility of family and 20 pounds.😂 Dan&Tim thank you for building a place,where people battling addiction actually matter. Y'all have provided a place for people to safely fight for themselves. I admire the freedom y'all allowed us to have. I did not feel locked up or out. I haven't been to a place where I was able to shower or watch movies,get snacks (with plenty of options to choose from),eat or go out to vape etc ..etc but at anytime .It was also a pleasure meeting you two. Not many people can say they met the founders of a rehab facility they are in. I can't thank you guys enough.My journey there was Super Fantastic.🥰 Thank you NOLA Detox in Slidell.
