“My son has been going there for quite sometime. . They are seeing him once a week. She also comes to our house as well. They are very nice and sweet people. I moved him here from life strategies in paragould. I do not like that them. They never took my sons mental health seriously. Even tho one time when he was having a reaction to Adderall he suddenly a criminal and needed to be sent to a mental health specialist. Um give me a break. I'm glad we moved! They are great. I'm about to have my first intake for my self. ( Just because someone' makes an appointment don't always mean it's mental health. Maybe someone just needs someone to talk to.”

“I never give negative reviews but if I could give 0 stars I would. First off several months ago I contacted them for my son to be seen and let them know the urgency of the situation. I did give them 2 weeks before I started calling once a week due to him needed an apt ASAP. Everytime I called I was assured they would get back with me and call me back. Never did I get one phone call until today. This is probably 3-4 months later that due to lack of availability for afternoons they would need to REFER HIM OUT! Please note prior to anytime I called due to the urgency I told them I would take whatever was available but for them to wait that long before calling me just to tell me sorry we can't see him. I'm so glad that my son had me to advocate for him and I got him in somewhere else because anyone that struggles with mental health can understand. I believe that no follow through is unacceptable in any situation with patient care. I understand the limit of slots and if that was the case then don't make someone wait that long to just tell them that. Quality patient care should be the main focus and update them on status not leave them high and dry. I really hope for anyone else's sake that this hasn't happened to anyone else and if so I pray they had someone to advocate for them or for themselves.”

“When we were referred to Next Step in 2021, my son was struggling with issues that stemmed from him having ASD and he was feeling very defeated. In the 2 years since he started seeing a counselor weekly, he has shown tremendous growth and it's inspiring. He's had a wonderful team that provides encouragement and direction. His counselor challenges him but in a way that he is able to understand and he has flourished greatly. Confidentiality is important to her and I always look forward to my monthly meeting with her because she gives me a lot of encouragement and helps me make the right decisions for our family. I could go on and on, but I have and will continue to recommend Next Step Counseling. They have made an impact on my child's development that I will never take for granted.”

“I can't explain how much I love this therapy place. They have shown so much compassion toward myself and family. Helping me work through the grief of losing my husband and also helping me heal from childhood trauma. The approach has been helpful but not pushy. It's allowing me to make my life better and make sure my future is amazing.”
