How likely are you to recommend Newtown Psychotherapy and Life Coaching Center?
What patients say on Google
“Made an appointment for the following week, filled out all their paperwork, then I get a text to confirm my appointment for a day I didn't make an appointment on. I call them, speak with the owner, and is sorry "somehow" my appointment was scheduled for the wrong day. And the original weekly appointment and therapist I was scheduled with, that standing time was given to someone else. They understand it's their fault this happened but only offering me what's left which of course would only complicate things for me, not them. Why don't you call the person you never should have given the time to and make them reschedule...”
“If I could give negative stars I would. Everything is peachy keen when you're brand new! Then all the sudden your therapist decides I''m not going to take your insurance" or 'we don't have availability". It took over 2 months for the owner, Mary Ellen Cook, to tell my husband that they did not have availability for my 8-year-old daughter and that they would speak about resources. The phone tag game was weeks long so like kind of impressive for a phone tied honestly. Apparently the secret that needed to be talked to about on the phone was the name of another place that does not accept insurance. So thank you so much Mary Ellen Cook for dropping me as a client because you did not take my insurance and your other therapist, Marta failed to help me at all because she was on a whole other planet. And thank you so much for wasting my entire summer trying to find my daughter help. VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. 🙄🙄🙄”
“I have absolutely loved my experience at Newtown Psychotherapy Center. I have never once had issues with billing or insurance firstly. However most importantly, I have never made as much progress in 7 months as I have with Janice Roberts. I have been in counseling nearly 11 years straight and have had a total of 4 therapists in that time. Can not thank Janice or Newtown Psychotherapy enough for the growth, self discovery, and peace I now feel. Haven’t felt this clear or content in years.”
“They would not accept a new client. Not very helpful”
