What patients say on Google

“When I first began dealing with almost crippling anxiety, New Transitions made me an appointment to go in the very next day that we called (and we called late) Todd Schneider helped me get through my bouts of major anxiety. He was always calm and understanding with my schedule and the times I forgot to show up to my appointments. He listened thoughtfully, giving me an outlet to express my griefs and problems and slowly guided me to an agreeable end. The place is not fancy but has a pretty cozy feeling. I would say just temper your expectations and don’t expect miracles from them. Both patient and counselor have to put in the work and it may take a long while. Worth it though.”

“New Transitions has been a blessing to me, one of their counselors Trent Culver has gotten me through some very tough times and sticks with you in the good times to make sure you’re doing good and find ways to better yourself even more. I went to multiple counselors before coming here and didn’t get the same feeling I got from here. It’s on a much more personal level and feels like you’re talking to a friend. You can tell they truly care about how you’re doing and want to see you succeed and will find a way to make that happen.”

“If you’re looking to find quality mental health care, I would highly recommend working with New Transitions. Making the decision to start therapy at New Transitions was honestly one of the best and most impactful decisions I have ever made in my life. As someone who was skeptical of the benefits of therapy and hesitant to get started, my experience at New Transitions has changed the way I feel about seeking help. I have been working with Dr. Trent Culver for about 2 years now. Dr. Culver provided a welcoming and accommodating experience that made my transition into therapy both smooth and productive. In the time I’ve been working with Dr. Culver, I’ve been able to work through some really tough issues and have gained permanent tools to deal with my anxiety and the uncertainties in my life. I have also learned many lessons that have been invaluable in becoming the person I want to be. Overall, my experience at New Transitions has been nothing short of outstanding, and it has truly turned my life around in such a meaningful & positive way.”

“My 8 year old grandson has had some big changes in his life the past year. His parents are going through a divorced and he has moved multiple times. Trent has been such a bright spot in his life. He is learning to deal with anger and stress on a much more constructive way. The staff all seem excellent. This is a "safe" place for children as well as adults. The game room makes me want to move in!! It is easy to understand why my sweet boy looks forward to his weekly appointment with Trent. Thank you New Transitions for returning my precious little boy to his family and me.”
