How likely are you to recommend New Leaf Mental Health, PLLC (New Leaf Counseling)?
What patients say on Google
“Nicole is a very caring and kind therapist. My son and I both saw her at different times for different issues and she really helped us overcome them. My son felt very comfortable with her and I appreciated that she quickly used EMDR on him which accelerated his healing. He is in such a good place right now. With me, she was kind and gentle…always asking questions that made me go a bit deeper.”
“I have gone back and forth on whether I should come out and tell my experience with Michelle. I have decided that I need to tell my story on what happened, so hopefully it does not happen to any one else. I went to see Michelle during 2018 and 2019. During this time I was struggling severely with my mental health. I even threaten suicide during one of our sessions, Michelle did not take me seriously, and gave me a smug look. I would ask for a referral to see the psychiatrist in town, and she told me that people struggle with depression all the time, and they do not take medication. Due to Michelle's incompetence I struggle with trusting therapist, and it turns out I have serve mental illness that could have been treated sooner if Michelle had taken me seriously. If you are looking for therapy, look elsewhere. Do not waste your time. If you are struggling, you deserve to be treated with empathy. You deserve to have someone take you seriously.”
“We were looking for a very specific Counseling after our son was diagnose with anxiety and depression . We found Ms. Nikole Gutierrez to be the perfect therapist for our son. She is well prepared and with her knowledge and credentials to work with our son and family as well. We are so thankful for her kindness, professionalism, and knowledge.”
“I wanted treatment for my depression and anxiety she was seeing me once a week and every time I would schedule my appointment I would end up getting rescheduled. This happened to me 3 times and in my point of view you are scheduling to your availability. That’s one thing I didn’t like about this doctor. Another one is changing the frequency to my appointments I liked the idea of being seen once a week but she decided to change it to once a month. My depression and anxiety have gotten worse and I felt she didn’t seem to care about it. She didn’t give me any treatment or medication on how to handle things.”
