What patients say on Google
“I got pulled into New Horizons Treatment Center's day program through a referral, and honestly, it just didn't click for me at all. Honestly it wasn't my choice. The other people there seemed alright, but the whole vibe felt off right away—activities came across as kinda childish for grown adults dealing with serious stuff, and there was this heavy activist slant that made things uncomfortable instead of helpful.I stuck it out for almost a week the first time, left feeling worse, then gave it another shot for like another week. Same thing. Finally decided nope, not going back. The transport guy who picked me up knew I was skipping. When I told him for sure at the start of the next week, he wasn't thrilled but said okay at first. Then later on the same day he calls my sibling wanting to "talk." Then days later he shows up, and it turns into this weird interrogation about my personal life and family. He straight-up called me a burden to my siblings and guilt-tripped me hard to come back. That crossed a line big time—talking to me like that outside the program felt gross and pushy. I said I'd go back just to get him off my back, but I have zero intention. This whole follow-up thing disgusted me and made me trust the place even less. Might work for some folks who like the group structure (they're accredited and all), but for me it was a bad fit and kinda harmful. Think twice if something feels forced.”
“Janelle is very nice and professional she was not feeling good the day of my appointment but still kept my appointment because she knew it would be hard for me to get back there on another day thank you again janelle”
