“Sorry for those like myself that didn't have a good experience with New Horizons. If your experience was good then I am happy someone was able to benefit from their program. As a single father of 5, New Horizons was not able to help my family size and was more confrontational than compassionate. Two of the five kids are from my first marriage and all they know is there stepmom as their real mom. So when they representative would single the two out because my current wife wasn't there biological mom, it really hurt their feelings. I kept explaining to the counselor that the two from my first marriage do not know their real mom and that their stepmom is mom to them. They were babies when their biological mom gave them up to me. So it was doing more harm than good for all the kids because they were all feeling that pain and tension of their siblings being singled out.”
