“I’ve had a really positive experience here. All of the therapists I’ve worked with are understanding and make me feel comfortable opening up. The psychiatrists take their time and truly listen, which I really appreciate. The peer counselor is also incredibly supportive and helps me feel less alone. Overall, everyone I’ve worked with at this clinic has been amazing and currently working with are amazing. The clubhouse is wonderful as well. I’m very grateful for all the support!”

“Don’t bother. I only came here because the nurse practitioner at new hope was a terrible human being. Anyway I ended up changing therapist twice because as it turns out both of them don’t give a flying you know what! On top of that, I’ve on occasion had to cancel my appointments for various reasons and even after calling to cancel, my therapist would call me and say where are you? Um, I canceled the appointment today! That wasn’t just once or twice, that happened every single time! Like this office doesn’t know how to do their job?!? Hello!!! Yeah go somewhere else, not worth your time or money…”

“The therapist is rude. I wasted my time trying to get help for to pretty much told me she can’t help and she was rude about it. I explained everything on the phone and they said it was okay and to come in. I had to come in the evening and had to wait just for someone to be dismissive but run my insurance. Worst place ever. Mind you I was referred by my primary doctor. And the therapist had the audacity to say I didn’t have a crisis and we never even have a conversation, it was my 1st time there trying to get help. Legit made my experience worse and not want to get help anymore.”

“New horizons counseling center is the best im part of the valley stream meeting place clubhouse have been a client with them almost 7 years a wonderful experience ive learned ao much about myself these last almost 7 years the staff are kind and caring the director jami is awesome a very safe and friendly environment they have welcomed me with open arms everyone is supportive of me and each other everyone on the second floor are friendly the psychiatrists and therapists there are professional and caring I recommend new horizons and the clubhouse to anyone struggling with mental health issues or are looking for a good therapist or psychiatrist in a clean safe and caring facility ♥️”
