How likely are you to recommend New Directions Counseling Center?
What patients say on Google
“I have been going here for about a year or two and I can actually say every therapist I was recommended too was excellent. My therapist now Ms. Shylandria Parker is one of the best she doesn't only ask me questions she motivates and gives me the opportunity to express how I feel and help me find ways to see progression. And the owner at the front desk always makes you feel welcome. Thanks New Directions Counseling 🩷🫶”
“Very great this was my first time and the owner is so sweet at the front. He made me feel so comfortable and welcomed! The counseling was great if your going through something you should give them a try”
“my husband and i both tried to go here and see the same therapist. my issuewhy i never went back was i was cancelled on several times and was never notified that my insurance was exceeded til the day of my appt. today my hudband had an appt at 145. we were invovled in a hit in run a couple weeks ago and we were literally here and we hit a pot hole pulling unto cobblestone and something fell off our car and he was only 3 mins late and we tried calling 5 mins before his actual appt and before the grace period ended and no one answered or even attempted to call back. the woman at the front is rude and has no compassion whatsoever. and there is a reason we have to see therapist. things happen. i understand theres a 15 min grace period but sometimes u just need someone to have a little sympathy every now and then especially working in a therapy office. one of the reasons ive even hesitatant to see another one. thank god for my pshychiatrist and her staff that are VERY UNDERSTANDING. if u go here and think its great you got lucky. but i dont appreciate the treatment and unprofessionalism. this is the first time hes ever been late. and we cant help coming in the parking lot and hitting a pot hole that caused a part of our car to fall off. and that was one reason he needed to see her today was because now hes scared to drive. that 3 mins was him running in there to get in there within that grace period. we had 20 mins when we called and we had just pulled unto cobblestone. definitely NOT going back.”
“Been a long term client and they don't disappoint. If you need to work through issues, the therapists are excellent and attentive to your needs. Highly recommend.”
