“I first met Dr. Merchant in 2019 in Augusta, GA when I was assigned to his care for outpatient medicinal management and office based psychiatric care. He was in residency during the time and provided me with the absolute best care I have ever received since my initial diagnosis 25 years ago. When the pandemic hit in 2020, Dr. Merchant worked tirelessly providing his patients with superior care in our then new norm-Teletherapy. When he graduated from his residency I told him I wanted him to be my psychiatrist no matter where he practices. I found Dr. Merchant when I moved to Suwanee and in April 2024 I am looking forward to receiving phenomenal care from him again. I have been on the waitlist to see him. Simply put, Dr. Merchant is an outstanding physician!”

“If i could give Dr Merchant a -10 i would. He doesnt care about the patients all he wants to do is put someone in a nursing home. He doesnt want to change medications when the patient is having a reaction. His supervisor finally changed it then said if they needed to adjust it to do it slowly. Unfortunately the dr didnt didnt do it slowly he jumped it up 250 and my dad had a bad reaction to it. Sadly a laurelwood intake told me he needed a medication adjustment and something for agitation. Dr. Merchant refused to do anything.After two 1013 and nothing done i told this Dr he wouldnt be back and this Dr called APS on me and everything that was reported was unfounded. Waiting on the letter from them and im getting a lawyer because you made false accusations against me. Do not use this Dr if you care about your family.”
